<p>Robert Half are delighted to be supporting a circa £200 million turnover organisation on the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant to join the team, on a full time and permanent basis.</p><p>Our client is going through an exciting time strategically, with a number of new initiatives on the horizon, of which this hire will play a key role in. This is a great development opportunity for an AAT studier to join an established organisation and develop their finance career.</p><p>You would work on a hybrid model with 2 days per week in our client's office situated west of Bath, and 3 days per week working from home.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will include but not be limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Support year-end processes, financial preparation and external audits.</li><li>Carry out monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support the wider Finance teams.</li><li>Manage treasury and banking activity, including cashflow updates and forecasts.</li><li>Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accurate records, reporting and compliance.</li><li>Complete statutory returns (ONS, VAT, tax) and provide VAT guidance and training.</li><li>Provide wider finance support across insurance, due diligence and general queries.</li></ul><p><strong>Your Profile:</strong></p><ul><li>Actively studying for the AAT qualification (open to level).</li><li>Proven experience of working in a finance environment in a similar role.</li><li>Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work comfortably with systems and Excel (pivot tables, v look ups etc)</li><li>Interested in forging a career in Finance.</li></ul><p>In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of £29,000 - £33,000 dependant on experience plus benefits including study support, 30 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), family friendly policies, flexible working options, support with healthcare, access to discounts, cycle to work scheme and more.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
