This office-based role in Pontypool offers a collaborative team environment and excellent working hours, including a early finish on Fridays.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Debt Management: Monitor accounts receivable daily to ensure timely client payments.</li><li>Proactive Chasing: Contact customers via phone, email, and letter to recover overdue invoices.</li><li>Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date communication logs in the accounting system.</li><li>Query Resolution: Resolve billing discrepancies internally and externally to secure payments.</li><li>Team Support: Assist the Senior Credit Controller with administrative tasks and debt reporting.</li><li>Payment Allocation: Cross-train to process and allocate incoming payments during cover periods.</li><li>Risk Escalation: Identify and flag high-risk or problematic accounts to senior management.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Experience: A strong, proven track record in dedicated credit control positions.</li><li>Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for professional customer relationship management.</li><li>Organization: High attention to detail with strong record-keeping and administrative skills.</li></ul> <ul><li>Type: Full-time, Permanent</li><li>Salary: £31,000 per annum</li><li>Hours: Mon-Thu 8am-4pm, Fri 9am-1pm</li><li>Location: Office-based, Pontypool</li></ul>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
