This is a key leadership role within the finance function, offering a genuine progression pathway to <strong>Finance Director</strong> level as the organisation continues to expand and modernise.</p><p>The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in driving process improvement, implementing new and simplified reporting tools, and supporting the business on its journey towards greater financial efficiency and insight.</p><p><strong>This role also offers the unique perk of a 4 day week (Monday-Thursday) but paid as a full-time salary.</strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure timely completion of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and consolidation of international entity results</li><li>Oversee general ledger integrity, balance sheet reconciliations, and all purchase and sales invoicing processes</li><li>Manage and develop a finance team of five</li><li>Take ownership of VAT returns, statutory reporting, and all government submissions</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors</li><li>Oversee daily cashflow management and forecast future cash requirements</li><li>Manage loan stock drawdowns and monitor funding positions</li><li>Analyse monthly stock movements and payments across different stock classes</li><li>Provide insightful expenditure analysis and commentary to support management decision-making</li><li>Ensure compliance with all funding covenants and reporting obligations</li><li>Take full responsibility for staff payroll operations</li><li>Manage key supplier and customer relationships, including potential overseas travel where required</li></ul><p><strong>Experience & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Fully qualified <strong>ACCA / CIMA / ACA</strong></li><li>Proven experience in managing and developing a finance team</li><li>Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical ability</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills</li><li>Confident operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities</li><li>A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a desire to streamline and improve reporting processes</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions. <p>Robert Half is partnering with a global manufacturing business based in Leicester to recruit a Finance Business Partner for a highly visible, site-based role supporting operations.</p><p>This is a hands-on Finance Business Partner position within a complex manufacturing environment with international operations. Working closely with the Finance Director and site team, the role plays a critical part in supporting day-to-day manufacturing activity, driving insight across costs, performance and decision-making. While the role is predominantly site based to remain close to operations, there is flexibility around working patterns.</p><p><strong>The role</strong><br />As Finance Business Partner, you will act as the financial lead for manufacturing and operational teams, embedding finance into the heart of the site.
