<p><strong>Title: Reporting Manager</strong><br /> <strong>FTSE 250 Plc</strong><br /> <strong>Location:</strong> London (Hybrid - 3 days a week in the office)</p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high-performing FTSE 250 Plc as a <strong>Group Reporting Manager</strong>. This role is critical in supporting external reporting requirements, managing statutory consolidations, and playing a key role in governance and technical accounting across the group.</p><p>You'll be part of a dynamic Group Finance team that values technical excellence, initiative, and the confidence to challenge the status quo. This position offers excellent exposure to senior leadership and is ideally suited for someone looking to make the move from practice or take the next step within a listed group.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the preparation of consolidated statutory accounts for the group</li><li>Drive high-quality external financial reporting in compliance with IFRS</li><li>Draft and review technical accounting papers (e.g. revenue recognition, IFRS 15/16)</li><li>Partner with internal stakeholders across finance and audit to ensure timely and accurate reporting</li><li>Support implementation and optimisation of group reporting systems (Cognos, SAP ERP)</li><li>Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and accounting policy compliance</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement in reporting processes and controls</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li>ACA or ICAEW qualified (Big 4 preferred, Top 10 with PLC clients considered)</li><li>Strong experience in statutory accounts and group consolidations</li><li>Proven ability to write clear and concise accounting papers</li><li>Solid understanding of IFRS and technical accounting areas (e.g. revenue recognition)</li><li>Confident communicator who can engage with senior stakeholders</li><li>Motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced listed environment</li></ul><p><strong>What's on Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Base salary: depending on experience</li><li>Bonus: 10-20% on-target cash bonus</li><li>Pension: 6% matched contribution</li><li>Bupa healthcare contribution</li><li>£13.50/day lunch allowance when in the office</li><li>25 days annual leave + bank holidays</li><li>Hybrid working and FTSE 250 exposure</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
