They have an extensive network of expertise and professionals covering a broad range of client services for numerous industries.</p><p>Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a high-calibre Financial Controller to join their finance department.</p><p><strong>Role</strong></p><p>The Financial Controller will support the CFO and work closely with the FP&A function in the day-to-day running of the finance department. They will manage and lead the team whilst taking ownership of month-end/year-end processes, reporting and analysis. This position will take on a number of key duties including: </p><ul><li>Oversee the production of accurate financial information in accordance with UK GAAP and external regulations.</li><li>Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring high performance and regular reviews.</li><li>Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring that postings are finalised in line with close timetable.</li><li>Ensure robust financial policies & controls are maintained and communicated efficiently.</li><li>Lead the review of weekly and monthly payment runs.</li><li>Be the primary contact for external audit work (year-end processes etc.)</li><li>Manage day-to-day relationships with key external stakeholders.</li><li>Support the CFO with Partnership related queries/matters and provision of information for external tax.</li><li>Continuously support in improving processes and use of internal Dynamics 365 Business Central system.</li><li>Work closely with the FP&A Manager and provide input for budgeting & forecasting.</li><li>Work closely with other departmental heads throughout the business providing information efficiently.</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><p>The ideal profile for this Financial Controller position should have the following attributes:</p><ul><li>ACA qualified (or equivalent, ACCA/CIMA) with 4+ years of post qualification experience</li><li>Experience working in professional services within a similar financial control capacity</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Strong academic background</li><li>Confidence using Excel and associated formulas</li><li>Excellent attention to detail</li><li><strong>Desirable: </strong>Partnerships experience, use of Dynamics 365 Business Central</li></ul><p><strong>Salary / Package</strong></p><p>£80,000 - £90,000 + additional benefits including:</p><ul><li>Hybrid working</li><li>25 days holiday + bank holidays</li><li>Pension scheme - 5%</li><li>Private medical</li><li>PerkBox & retail discounts</li><li>Income protection</li><li>EAP, Life Assurance, Eye-care and more.</li></ul><p>The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.</p><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
