Manchester, hybrid. </p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit professional with strong leadership and credit risk experience to join a growing and evolving business.</p><p>Key responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Lead, motivate and develop a Credit Control team of 6-10.</p></li><li><p>Manage performance, including regular reviews, objectives and development plans.</p></li><li><p>Set and monitor individual and team collection targets.</p></li><li><p>Manage high-volume ledgers and drive cash collection performance.</p></li><li><p>Identify and manage credit risk, minimising bad debt and write-offs.</p></li><li><p>Handle customer escalations, payment plans and complex queries.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with internal stakeholders across Credit, Insurance and Legal.</p></li><li><p>Ensure credit policies, processes and KPIs are consistently achieved.</p></li><li><p>Act as a key escalation point and deputy to the Head of Credit.</p></li><li><p>Identify opportunities to improve processes and team performance.</p></li></ul><p>Key criteria</p><ul><li><p>Strong experience of performance management and developing teams.</p></li><li><p>Experience managing high-volume ledgers.</p></li><li><p>Solid knowledge of credit risk, with exposure to insurance and legal processes.</p></li><li><p>Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</p></li><li><p>Commercially aware, highly numerate and results focused.</p></li><li><p>Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.</p></li></ul><p>This is a hybrid role with the requirement being 3 days onsite. </p><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
