<p>We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to the delivery of accounting services within a supportive, dynamic, and transforming Finance team. The role involves managing and executing key accounting processes effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvements and ensure excellence in service delivery.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:<br />Complete month-end and year-end processes, including preparation of journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.<br />Deliver technical accounting tasks such as fixed asset accounting, VAT preparation, income accounting, and payroll accounting.<br />Analyse data across multiple sources for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.<br />Support regulatory and statutory requests.<br />Provide insights into variance analysis, depreciation forecasting, and disposals reporting.<br />Identify opportunities for process optimisation and service enhancements.<br />Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies to meet key compliance requirements.</p><p>Qualifications and Skills:<br />Qualified accountant or actively pursuing an ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification.<br />Excellent analytical and data manipulation skills, with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).<br />Previous experience in a shared services accounting environment is desirable.<br />Strong communication skills to engage with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.<br />Ability to work independently and adapt to change in fast-paced environments.<br />Strong time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines.<br />This role is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic finance team while showcasing your technical and analytical expertise.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
