You be will be responsible for following duties:</p><ul><li>Manage and perform all North American accounting functions including transactions posting, customer billing, A/R, A/P, GL postings, cost accounting, and revenue recognition</li><li>Reconciliation of balance sheet, P&amp;L and all intercompany recharges</li><li>Produce monthly financial statements, perform variance analysis and provide commentaries</li><li>Oversee tax functions for the US and Canada liaising with our external tax accountants and ensuring all necessary tax filings are completed in time</li><li>Production of year end audit files for both US and Canada Companies and support head office and parent company with the statutory audit</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements; filing financial reports</li><li>Maintain internal control processes and ensure the system and processes are efficient operating and utilised within the company</li><li>Manage relationships with bankers, auditors, and tax authorities</li><li>Lead monthly account reviews for US and Canada, working with VP Finance &amp; Reporting to ensure management accounts and reporting supports overall reporting vision</li><li>Support group HR team with monthly payroll processing when needed</li><li>Provide ad hoc operational support for the office and HR</li></ul><p><strong>Profile:</strong></p><p>The successful Interim Accountant will either be Part qualified or newly qualified experience.</p><p>You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.</p><p><strong>Client:</strong></p><p>Our client are a leading Media Company based in London.
