<p><strong>Role:</strong></p><p>Our client is looking for an immediate, temporary, Financial Accountant to assist them for 15 months. You be will be responsible for following duties:</p><ul><li>Support the monthly and annual group consolidation process for the group, assisting in the preparation of information for internal and external stakeholders in line with agreed timetables.</li><li>Assist with the annual Group audit, including supporting the preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with Group auditors under the guidance of senior finance team members.</li><li>Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of group-related deliverables, including acquisitions, disposals, consolidations, fair value adjustments and cash flow reporting.</li><li>Support ongoing improvements in the quality, accuracy and timeliness of financial information provided to internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of new accounting systems, including testing, documentation and user support.</li><li>Prepare draft briefing papers and analysis on commercial and accounting matters for review by senior finance colleagues.</li><li>Support the day-to-day accounting and audit activities of the Parent / Holding Company, ensuring appropriate documentation and controls are maintained.</li><li>Work closely with the Group Reporting Accountant and wider finance team, providing analytical and administrative support as required.</li><li>Participate in ad hoc projects and analysis, gaining exposure to a broad range of group finance activities.</li></ul><p><strong>Profile:</strong></p><p>The successful, temporary Financial Accountant will be part qualified or finalist level however they will consider a qualified candidate.
