- <p>Robert Half is exclusively partnering with a well-established Bristol-based charity to appoint a Director of Finance & Operations, covering maternity leave.</p><p>You'll sit on the Senior Management Team, act as strategic lead for finance, operations and grant-making, and report directly to the CEO - equally comfortable in the Boardroom and close to operational detail.</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Bristol - hybrid 2 days onsite.</p><p><strong>Salary: </strong>Circa £75,000</p><p><strong>Reporting to: </strong>Chief Executive Officer</p><p><strong>Duration</strong>: 12 month FTC</p><p><strong>Direct reports: </strong>Financial Controller, Head of Grants, Head of Operations</p><p> </p><p>The charity has recently been through a merger, and this role will help steer the resulting change programme, including a finance system implementation already in flight.</p><p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p><ul><li>Own budgeting, forecasting, management accounts and month-end close, reporting into the Finance & Grants and Audit Committees.</li><li>Lead risk, governance and policy - including company secretary duties and Board/committee papers.</li><li>Act as HR lead, overseeing payroll, pay and staff wellbeing.
