This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting month-end accounting activities.</p><h2 data-section-id="18w7bso" data-start="466" data-end="489">Key Responsibilities</h2><ul data-end="1062" data-start="490"><li data-end="554" data-start="490" data-section-id="1sq2skf">Support the finance team with month-end accounting activities.</li><li data-section-id="1o0v92w" data-start="555" data-end="631">Process general accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner.</li><li data-end="706" data-start="632" data-section-id="1z029ly">Complete balance sheet reconciliations and support process improvements.</li><li data-end="837" data-start="707" data-section-id="19jq78t">Review monthly financial results, ensuring accruals, prepayments and transactional coding are accurate ahead of month-end close.</li><li data-start="838" data-end="902" data-section-id="17cl06s">Resolve aged Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable queries.</li><li data-start="903" data-end="1001" data-section-id="t5dvds">Work closely with operational teams to ensure outstanding finance queries are resolved promptly.</li><li data-section-id="1sg0abu" data-end="1062" data-start="1002">Assist with ad hoc finance tasks and projects as required.</li></ul><h2 data-section-id="1jjwfl7" data-start="1064" data-end="1076">About You</h2><p data-start="1077" data-end="1122">To be successful in this role, you will have:</p><ul data-end="1600" data-start="1123"><li data-end="1270" data-start="1123" data-section-id="1ls5lgc">Previous experience in a broad accounting role covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, accruals and month-end reporting.</li><li data-section-id="1jbugmp" data-end="1318" data-start="1271">Intermediate or above French language skills.</li><li data-section-id="cffv8y" data-start="1319" data-end="1361">Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs.</li><li data-section-id="161zgvk" data-end="1426" data-start="1362">Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.</li><li data-section-id="171cjj3" data-end="1515" data-start="1427">The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a busy finance team.</li><li data-section-id="1i860mj" data-start="1516" data-end="1600">ERP system experience (IFS experience would be advantageous but is not essential).</li></ul><h2 data-end="1621" data-start="1602" data-section-id="xu7ph1">Contract Details</h2><ul data-end="1739" data-start="1622"><li data-start="1622" data-end="1640" data-section-id="fe0qz5">Interim position</li><li data-start="1641" data-end="1667" data-section-id="yd4p7u">Initial 3-month contract</li><li data-section-id="1s3mq2x" data-end="1685" data-start="1668">5 days per week</li><li data-section-id="rgpspz" data-start="1686" data-end="1711">Based near High Wycombe</li><li data-section-id="11vd18" data-start="1712" data-end="1739">Immediate start preferred</li></ul><p data-is-last-node="" data-end="1870" data-start="1741" data-is-only-node="">If you are an experienced <strong data-start="1767" data-end="1797">French-speaking Accountant</strong> available for your next interim opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
