CONTRACT AZURE MIGRATION ENGINEER <h3> </h3>Job Title: Azure Migration Engineer Location: Oxfordshire / Hybrid Working Pattern Duration: Initially 3 Months Rate: Competitive Daily RateWe are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Deployment Engineer to lead the implementation of a new Microsoft Azure environment.This is a hands-on deployment role focused on building a secure, well-structured Azure environment in line with agreed architecture, security and governance requirements.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Design and deploy the Microsoft Azure environment from the ground up.</li><li>Configure Azure subscriptions, resource groups, networking and core services.</li><li>Implement Azure identity, RBAC, PIM and appropriate security controls.</li><li>Apply Azure policies and Microsoft best-practice standards.</li><li>Ensure resources are deployed securely and consistently.</li><li>Work with relevant security stakeholders to ensure the environment meets required security and compliance standards.</li><li>Troubleshoot deployment and configuration issues.</li><li>Use PowerShell, Azure CLI and/or Infrastructure as Code where appropriate.</li><li>Produce clear technical documentation covering the Azure architecture, configuration, security and operational setup.</li><li>Provide knowledge transfer and handover to the internal IT team.</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><ul><li>Strong experience in IT/cloud infrastructure.</li><li>Strong, demonstrable hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.</li><li>Proven experience deploying Azure environments from the ground up.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Azure security, Entra ID, RBAC and PIM.</li><li>Good understanding of Azure networking, governance and resource management.</li><li>Experience with Azure Policy and security best practices.</li><li>Strong scripting/automation skills using PowerShell and/or Azure CLI.</li><li>Experience with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates would be advantageous.</li><li>Strong documentation and communication skills.</li><li>Able to work independently, take ownership and deliver to deadlines.</li><li>Security-conscious and comfortable working within formal governance requirements.</li></ul>If you are interested in applying please reach out! <h3> </h3> Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions. This is a permanent role, paying up to £65,000 with hybrid working.
