- <p>Exciting opportunity to join a well established and growing business based in Wantage as Infrastructure Team Leader, offering excellent career progression and development and competitive salary/package.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>As Infrastructure Team Leader, you'll be responsible for:</p><ul><li>leading a small team of infrastructure specialists, responsible for monitoring, supporting and maintaining a reliable and high-performing server, storage and data-centre infrastructure </li><li>coordinating activities with internal and 3rd party resources across multiple international sites </li><li>lead continuous improvement of backups, disaster recovery and monitoring processes</li><li>identify opportunities to implement new technologies in line with IT strategy, driving automation and continuous improvement</li><li>maintaining standards and adhering to compliance processes and procedures, in line with various IT and security frameworks </li><li>lead on exciting infrastructure change projects and initiatives</li></ul><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>Applicants for the Infrastructure Team Leader role will:</p><ul><li>have sound experience gained as an infrastructure engineer, systems administrator, or similar, with strong knowledge across storage, server and data-centres, in particular Microsoft based infrastructure</li><li>be experienced with hyper-visor technologies (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Proxmox)</li><li>have knowledge or experience of automation / orchestration (e.g. Ansible, Terraform) and container platforms (e.g. Kubernetes) would be beneficial </li><li>be comfortable working in a regulated environment and experience driving compliance with frameworks / standards</li><li>be comfortable working in an office based environment and with occasional international travel</li></ul><p><strong>On offer</strong></p><p>Competitive salary and benefits package, including generous pension, bonus, private medical and flexible working hours</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
