With a strong reputation for quality and a close-knit team culture, this business offers the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across finance and the wider organisation, taking ownership of your responsibilities while learning from an experienced team.Key Details:<ul><li>Job Title: Accounts Payable Executive</li><li>Salary: £35k - £38k + study support</li><li>Location: Leyton</li><li>Working Pattern: Full-time, 4 days onsite, 1 day remote</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Accounts Payable: Process and reconcile purchase invoices, maintain accurate bookkeeping records and ensure suppliers are paid on time.</li><li>Supplier Account Management: Investigate aged balances, resolve invoice queries and build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Reconciliations: Complete regular bank reconciliations, validate purchase orders and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.</li><li>Reporting & Month-End: Support aged creditor reporting, customer deductions, cost centre tracking and month-end and year-end close activities.</li><li>Financial Administration: Maintain accurate accounting records, support document management and provide cover for colleagues when needed.</li><li>Audit & Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits, carry out pricing and stock checks, and support ERP and plastic tax reporting requirements.</li><li>Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across finance and the wider business, supporting ad hoc projects and helping the team meet its priorities.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>At least 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable or a similar purchase ledger role.</li><li>A degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent professional studies (AAT, ACA or CIMA).</li><li>Experience using accounting software, ideally SAP, Intact or a similar ERP system.</li><li>Strong Excel skills and confidence working with Microsoft Office 365.
