For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:</p><p><strong>£60,000 - £65,000 plus bonus and hybrid remote working</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Preparation of the monthly group consolidation process, which includes preparing monthly consolidation adjustments, eliminating intercompany transactions and balances, reviewing key financial items to identify and analyse significant variances and anomalies, and providing supporting analysis for major balances and reconciliations</li><li>Lead the preparation of the end to end of the quarterly reporting cycle, including the preparation of the Group consolidation for quarterly reporting, preparing disclosures and performing reconciliations under IFRS</li><li>Consolidate the re-forecasted Profit &amp; Loss statement and compare it with the annual internal Business Plan, identifying risk areas and providing key variance analysis</li><li>Support with the preparation of annual consolidated budget for shareholders and analysis of quarterly performance against budget, particularly in relation to below EBITDA items</li><li>Monthly updates of the Group operating capex schedule and revision of forecasts, including board pack communication of notable spend and variance analysis on key categories and spend areas</li><li>Ownership of the Chart of Accounts and actioning of updates and efficiencies required, including reconciliations between the mapping of the management accounts, the consolidation and the statutory accounts. Escalation of any significant transactions or disclosures</li><li>Prepare detailed analysis and presentations to support internal and external board meetings and ad hoc business requests - namely equity track, debt overview, capital expenditure, balance sheet and cashflow and valuation</li><li>Support for the group wide audit process and input to any group audit queries</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Person specification:</strong></p><ul><li>Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA, CIMA, ACCA), with strong academic achievement and relevant experience in a group reporting role</li><li>Strong technical accounting skills, with an awareness of IFRS and how this interacts with local GAAPs is desirable</li><li>Analytical in thinking.
