You will be responsible for following duties:</p><ul><li>Solely manage a high-volume ledger of approximately 500-700 customer accounts.</li><li>Take full ownership of the credit control and debt collection process across the assigned portfolio.</li><li>Manage a ledger of approximately £2 million, with a strong focus on reducing outstanding and aged debt.</li><li>Proactively pursue 150+ days aged debt, implementing effective collection strategies to recover outstanding balances.</li><li>Work within a high-volume credit control environment, prioritising workload and managing multiple accounts effectively.</li><li>Carry out detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Investigate and resolve queries, disputes and issues preventing payment.</li><li>Problem-solve complex account and payment issues to drive debt recovery.</li><li>Investigate potential bad debt, identifying root causes and taking appropriate action.</li><li>Maintain accurate account records and ensure all collection activity is documented.</li><li>Work independently and take full responsibility for achieving collection targets and improving debtor performance.</li></ul><p><strong>Profile:</strong></p><p>The successful interim Credit Control Clerk will have 3+ years experience. <br /> You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.</p><p><strong>Salary & Benefits:</strong></p><p>This role is paying between £18-£21p/h - DOE</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
