<p>Robert Half Finance and Accounting are partnering with a Renewables firm based in Central London who are looking to hire an immediate, qualified interim Finance Manager for 6 months.</p><p><strong>Role:</strong></p><p>Our client is looking to recruit an immediate, interim Finance Manager for 6 months role. This will be a standalone Finance Manager role and as part of this role you will be responsible for the following duties:</p><ul><li>Manage third-party administrators, for UK structure, which will include reviewing the monthly accounts, consolidation workings an advising on local GAAP to US GAAP differences.</li><li>Manage accounts payable, including contract and invoice verification and recharging project-related costs to subsidiaries.</li><li>Reviewing VAT calculations and filings, collaborating with external tax advisers to minimise tax liabilities, and calculating ad hoc tax obligations.</li><li>Track and manage equity issuance and shareholder loans within the European structure.</li><li>Liaise with FP&A on SG&A spend of the UK EmployeeCo and explain deviations from budget.</li><li>Support Investment and Asset Management teams on live investments, asset management activity, and M&A transactions.</li><li>Oversee jurisdictional compliance requirements, including coordination with company secretaries and ensuring timely Companies Registry filings.</li><li>Lead, coordinate, and execute the statutory audit, including standalone entity accounts and group consolidation under FRS 102.</li><li>Document and maintain key accounting policies, procedures, and technical accounting positions.</li><li>Manage and coordinate accounting and tax-related project work-streams.</li><li>Act as the primary bridge between UK finance and the wider US organisation, liaising with Accounting, Treasury, Investments, Asset Management, Tax, and Legal teams.</li></ul><p><strong>Profile:</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager role will be a qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CA who comes from practice and has excellent technical acumen. UK and US GAAP experience is essential alongside audit ownership and monthly reporting experience.
