- <h1>Accounts Payable Manager</h1><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>6 Month Fixed-Term Contract</strong></p><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Location:</strong> Surbiton (Hybrid - 2 days office, 3 days home)</p><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Salary:</strong> £60,000-£70,000</p><h2>The Opportunity</h2><p class="isSelectedEnd">An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced <strong>Accounts Payable Manager</strong> to join a growing international business during a significant period of transformation.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd">This role has a clear mandate to stabilise, improve and lead the Accounts Payable function across a complex multi-entity, multi-currency environment. You'll be responsible for driving team performance, strengthening controls, embedding accountability and delivering sustainable process improvements, while supporting ongoing automation and systems initiatives.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd">Managing a team of 12, you'll work closely with stakeholders across 25 international locations, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, change-focused environment.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul data-spread="false"><li>Lead, coach and develop the Accounts Payable team, creating a high-performing culture.</li><li>Manage two Team Leaders and support the wider AP function through change.</li><li>Introduce and monitor KPIs to improve service levels, accountability and performance.</li><li>Ensure invoices and supplier payments are processed accurately and on time.</li><li>Review aged creditors, parked invoices and outstanding exceptions, driving timely resolution.</li><li>Strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance across the AP process.</li><li>Standardise purchase order and invoice processes across multiple entities and regions.</li><li>Lead continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation and reducing manual processes.</li><li>Work collaboratively with finance and operational stakeholders to resolve root causes and implement long-term solutions.</li></ul><h2>About You</h2><p class="isSelectedEnd">You'll bring proven experience leading an Accounts Payable function, ideally within a shared services or international business environment.
