JOB TITLE: Senior Finance Manager DEPARTMENT: Finance LOCATION: United Kingdom (Hybrid) REPORTS TO: Director of Finance (UK)<h3 data-start="189" data-end="210">A. ROLE PURPOSE</h3>The Senior Finance Manager will support the Director of Finance, deputising where required and ensuring effective management of finance, accounting, and tax matters. The role acts as a key business partner, providing strategic financial support to the UK leadership team.<h3 data-start="489" data-end="518">B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</h3><ul data-end="1383" data-start="519"><li data-end="599" data-start="519">Support daily accounting and month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes.</li><li data-start="600" data-end="690">Lead budgets, long-range plans, and rolling forecasts; own management reporting (MIS).</li><li data-end="774" data-start="691">Deliver insightful reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and portfolio-level P&L reviews.</li><li data-end="851" data-start="775">Support business cases, financial modelling, and commercial initiatives.</li><li data-start="852" data-end="925">Manage intercompany and related-party reporting with shared services.</li><li data-start="926" data-end="1017">Support supply chain finance processes, including inventory and efficiency forecasting.</li><li data-end="1090" data-start="1018">Assist with corporation tax and transfer pricing alongside advisors.</li><li data-start="1091" data-end="1158">Prepare cash flow forecasts and advise on funding requirements.</li><li data-end="1237" data-start="1159">Complete balance sheet reconciliations (leases, accruals, tax provisions).</li><li data-end="1305" data-start="1238">Maintain strong financial controls and support audit processes.</li><li data-end="1383" data-start="1306">Contribute to integration and continuous process improvement initiatives.</li></ul><h3 data-start="1390" data-end="1419">C. PERSON SPECIFICATION</h3><ul data-start="1420" data-end="1758"><li data-end="1473" data-start="1420">Audit Trained ACA or ACCA qualified with 2-3 years' PQE.</li><li data-start="1474" data-end="1558">Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and ERP experience (SAP desirable).</li><li data-end="1621" data-start="1559">Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li data-end="1690" data-start="1622">Proactive, resilient, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.</li><li data-end="1758" data-start="1691">Experience in a regulated or manufacturing sector advantageous.</li></ul><h3 data-start="1765" data-end="1788">CORE COMPETENCIES</h3>Strategic thinking, innovation, customer focus, talent development, results orientation, process excellence, collaboration, and stakeholder management.<h3 data-end="1977" data-start="1949">ADDITIONAL INFORMATION</h3>Some UK and international travel may be required.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
