Robert Half Finance & Accounting are partnering with a leading Brokers in London to recruit an immediate, Interim Accounts Assistant for 6-12 months.Role:Our client is looking for an immediate interim Accounts Assistant to assist them for 6-12 months. You will be responsible for following duties: Margin Call Payments & Treasury Support * Process daily client collateral movements, ensuring timely execution and accurate reconciliation of client and counterparty transactions. * Monitor client accounts for margin requirements and coordinate with the appropriate teams to ensure sufficient funds are available. * Track margin balances and ensure that client margin calls are fulfilled promptly to maintain optimal liquidity levels. * Assist in managing the firm's daily cash flow, ensuring payments are processed according to the firm's liquidity and risk management policies. * Support the Financial Controller with daily treasury operations and cash flow forecasts. Client Account Management & Reconciliations * Maintain and update client account information, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and up to date. * Assist with daily and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions and client balances. * Assist in reconciling FX positions, margin accounts, and other client-related financial records. * Support the reconciliation of LME cash, collateral accounts, and other related financial data. * Ensure that all client payments and receipts are accurately recorded in the accounting system. * Providing an excellent level of customer service, responding in a timely manner to queries from clients and the Japanese subsidiary. Financial Reporting & Compliance * Provide support during the annual audit process, assisting with the preparation of financial statements and liaising with external auditors. * Assist with the preparation and filing of VAT returns, corporation tax, and other HMRC-related documentation.Profile:The successful interim Accounts Assistant will have a minimum of 1 years experienceYou must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.Client:Our client are a Brokers based in London. This role would ideally suit someone qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with demonstrable experience of adding value in a retail style business, and can offer a salary of up to £80k P/A plus bonus, benefits and work from home options.Duties:Financial Analysis and Reporting<ul><li>Maintenance and streamlining of key data workbooks: <ul><li>Historic and outlook tracking of sales from revenue through to contribution. This is a key report to enable analysis of unit volumes, average selling price (ASP), and profitability by product. Key opportunities or concerns will be highlighted to management and the board.</li><li>Centralised standard costing workbook. This is updated from data provided by local financial controllers and is critical to facilitate analysis and reporting of margin performance at product level.
