  • <p><strong>Finance Manager</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> City of London (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)<br /> <strong>Salary:</strong> £55,000 - £65,000 + competitive benefits</p><p> </p><p>Robert Half is partnering with a high-growth FinTech business based in the City of London to recruit a <strong>Finance Manager</strong>. This is an excellent opportunity to join a scaling organisation and play a key role within the finance function, acting as the bridge between the transactional finance team and the Financial Controller.</p><p> </p><p>This is a broad and hands-on position, responsible for overseeing day-to-day finance operations, improving processes and controls, and ensuring the finance function runs efficiently.</p><p> </p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>Finance Manager key responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Overseeing day-to-day finance operations and transactional finance activities</li><li>Managing month-end processes and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting</li><li>Maintaining and improving financial controls across the business</li><li>Supporting process improvements and automation initiatives to drive efficiency</li><li>Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow management</li><li>Working closely with the Financial Controller to support the wider finance agenda</li><li>Acting as a key point of contact within the finance function and providing guidance to junior team members</li><li>Supporting ad hoc projects as the business continues to grow and evolve</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded accountant who is eager to develop within a growing business.</p><p><strong>You will have:</strong></p><ul><li>ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification</li><li>At least 1-year PQE - either in accounts preparation OR industry trained.</li><li>Ideal background within an SME environment OR experience within Financial Services/ FinTech</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>We Would Be Particularly Interested In</strong></p><ul><li>Newly qualified accountants who have trained in industry</li><li>ACA-qualified candidates from smaller accountancy practices/ accounts preparation who have worked predominantly with Financial Services clients</li><li>Individuals looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced and growing organisation.</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
