<p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Month-End Close Ownership: </strong>Lead the preparation and review of the month-end close process, including: Revenue Recognition in line with applicable accounting standards, Accrued Liabilities and Prepaid Expenses, Lease accounting and Fixed Asset depreciation, Bank reconciliations, Payroll posting and reconciliation</li><li><strong>Balance Sheet Reconciliations:</strong>Perform timely and accurate reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.</li><li><strong>Journal Entry Processing:</strong>Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger.</li><li><strong>Cashflow Management:</strong>Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, including forecasting, budgeting, and optimising cash utilisation.</li><li><strong>Financial Audit Support:</strong>Act as a key contact for external auditors, preparing required schedules, supporting documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.</li><li><strong>Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Management:</strong>Oversee the efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and collections from customers.</li><li><strong>Monthly Financial Reporting and Variance Analysis:</strong>Prepare and present detailed monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
