The successful candidate will take ownership of key privacy activities while supporting the wider business with practical compliance and risk advice.</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead day-to-day privacy and data protection activities across the business.</li><li>Provide practical advice on data protection, consumer protection and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Complete and maintain privacy assessments and relevant compliance documentation.</li><li>Manage data protection requests, privacy queries and related complaints.</li><li>Review potential fraud indicators and support investigations where required.</li><li>Support compliance monitoring, assurance and risk management activities.</li><li>Assist with the development of policies, procedures, training and awareness.</li><li>Work with stakeholders across the business to identify and manage regulatory and operational risks.</li><li>Support the business in maintaining high standards of customer fairness, integrity and compliance.</li></ul><p><strong>About you:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in a compliance, privacy, fraud, governance or regulatory risk environment.</li><li>Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to assess information and make sound recommendations.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.</li><li>Comfortable working with stakeholders across different levels of an organisation.</li><li>Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.</li><li>Working knowledge of UK data protection legislation is highly desirable.</li><li>Experience in a consumer-facing environment, fraud investigations or compliance monitoring would be advantageous.</li></ul><p><strong>What's on offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)</li><li>Healthcare benefits.</li><li>Pension scheme.</li><li>25 days annual leave.</li><li>Collaborative and supportive working environment.</li><li>Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 plus performance-related bonus.</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
