Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading financial services to recruit a AI Enablement Engineer on an initial 6-12 month contract basis. London based - hybrid working This role is primarily to provide AI integration support and guidance to a team of around 25 investment, operations and support personnel. We are in the early stages of this process so the role will be well positioned to help guide how the integration looks. The second function of the role is providing support, when needed, to the Python and SQL based reporting suite used by the operations team.Role<ul><li>The AI Enablement Engineer will lead the AI integration project, focusing on data security and controls appropriate for the needs of the different teams within the business</li><li>Train staff to use AI tools both efficiently and securely</li><li>Work with our outsourced IT provider to ensure that we stay up to date with developments in AI security and integration</li><li>Ensure the smooth running of existing Python/SQL reporting framework.</li></ul>The AI enablement Engineer will have experience with the following technologies/tools:<ol><li>Docker, Postgres, REST APIs, SFTP, Websockets</li><li>OOP + Asynchronous Design Patterns</li><li>PowerQuery/DAX/M</li><li>Industry standard libraries used in software development within finance (pandas, numpy, scipy etc)</li><li>MS Graph</li></ol>* Experience with the following technologies is nice to have: <ol><li>NodeJS</li><li>Grafana</li><li>VBA</li><li>OpenAI API</li><li>Cross OS file shares</li></ol>Profile The AI Enablement Engineer will have experience with the following:<ul><li>Data processing and transformation</li><li>Report maintenance/production</li><li>Management of automated processes</li><li>Use/management of virtual machines</li><li>Investigation of reporting breaks/inconsistencies with an eye for detail</li><li>The ability to quickly adopt and use the stack of previous developers</li><li>Experience with migrations is a nice to have</li><li>Develop new reporting processes needed by the operations team</li></ul>Company<ul><li>Market leading financial services organisation </li><li>Global presence with offices in London </li><li>hybrid working </li></ul>Salary & BenefitsThe salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
