<p>The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Head of Finance on behalf of a specialist service business with offices on the edge of Bedford and Ampthill.</p><p>The Role</p><p>As Head of Finance you will lead the UK Finance Operations and partner with he UK head and International Parent to drive financial accuracy, aid in strategic decision making and manage key internal and external stakeholders. Day to day duties will consist of:</p><ul><li>Business Partnering & Strategic Support.</li><li>Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions and growth initiatives.</li><li>Defining and implementing change in processes across the business to drive efficiency.</li></ul><ul><li>Support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes with a focus on precision and relevance.</li><li>Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and performance tracking.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results and forecasts.</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee all UK accounting operations, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP</li><li>Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>Maintain strong internal controls and drive process improvements.</li><li>Ongoing Balance Sheet control and review.</li><li> In charge of consolidated accounts for entities and statutory accounts for UK entities.</li></ul><ul><li>Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including group finance, operations, and HR.</li><li>Represent UK finance in global forums and contribute to group-wide initiatives.</li></ul><p>Your Profile</p><p>You will be a Qualified Accountant and have a strong combination of technical accounting and commercial acumen, leadership qualities and the ability to work at a Board Level to provide insight and updates.
