Exciting opportunity to join a well established and growing business based in Wantage as Infrastructure Team Leader, offering excellent career progression and development and competitive salary/package.The RoleAs Infrastructure Team Leader, you'll be responsible for:<ul><li>leading a small team of infrastructure specialists, responsible for monitoring, supporting and maintaining a reliable and high-performing server, storage and data-centre infrastructure </li><li>coordinating activities with internal and 3rd party resources across multiple international sites </li><li>lead continuous improvement of backups, disaster recovery and monitoring processes</li><li>identify opportunities to implement new technologies in line with IT strategy, driving automation and continuous improvement</li><li>maintaining standards and adhering to compliance processes and procedures, in line with various IT and security frameworks </li><li>lead on exciting infrastructure change projects and initiatives</li></ul>About youApplicants for the Infrastructure Team Leader role will:<ul><li>have sound experience gained as an infrastructure engineer, systems administrator, or similar, with strong knowledge across storage, server and data-centres, in particular Microsoft based infrastructure</li><li>be experienced with hyper-visor technologies (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Proxmox)</li><li>have knowledge or experience of automation / orchestration (e.g. Ansible, Terraform) and container platforms (e.g. Kubernetes) would be beneficial </li><li>be comfortable working in a regulated environment and experience driving compliance with frameworks / standards</li><li>be comfortable working in an office based environment and with occasional international travel</li></ul>On offerCompetitive salary and benefits package, including generous pension, bonus, private medical and flexible working hoursRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
