This role involves designing and executing comprehensive research studies, analyzing data, and translating complex findings into actionable insights for product teams. UX Researchers are the voice of the user, ensuring that product development is grounded in evidence rather than assumptions. They employ a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover user pain points and opportunities. Candidates typically have 3-5 years of experience in UX research, market research, or a related field. A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant discipline such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or Anthropology is often required. Experience conducting research with diverse participants across the Canadian market, including an understanding of cultural and regional differences, is a key asset.

Typical UX researcher duties:

Plan, design, and execute a variety of user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field studies.Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify user behaviours, needs, and mental models.Create research reports, personas, user journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers to ensure research findings are integrated into the product lifecycle.Advocate for the user in strategic planning and design discussions.Manage research tools and platforms, ensuring data is collected ethically and in compliance with privacy regulations.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in research methodologies.
