Network Manager Job Description

A Network Manager is responsible for the operational oversight, maintenance, and performance of an organization's network infrastructure. This role involves leading a team of network professionals, ensuring network stability, security, and efficiency, and implementing solutions that support daily business operations. Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and performance of the organization's network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, wireless).Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network administrators or engineers.Implement network security measures, policies, and procedures to protect data and systems.Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.Manage network hardware, software, and vendor relationships, including procurement and lifecycle management.Participate in network planning and design discussions, ensuring operational readiness for new initiatives.
