This position demands strong leadership, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to manage complex data projects and foster team development. Typically, 7-10 years of progressive experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management capacity, is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative field is essential, with a Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred. A deep understanding of Canadian market data, consumer trends, and privacy regulations (e.g., PIPEDA) is a key asset.

Typical data analysis manager duties:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts, fostering best practices in data collection, analysis, and visualization.Oversee the design and execution of data analysis projects to address key business questions and challenges.Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance across various data sources and systems.Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights for senior management and stakeholders.Develop and implement advanced analytical methodologies, models, and tools.Collaborate with IT, product, marketing, and sales teams to integrate data insights into business processes.Manage the full lifecycle of data analysis initiatives, from data extraction to reporting and recommendation.Stay current with emerging data technologies, analytical trends, and Canadian data privacy laws.
