This individual will be providing advice on governance related matters, with governance experience highly desired. <strong>This is a permanent, part-time (0.8) role, however the client is open to full-time if preferred by the candidate. Partnering closely with teams across product, technology and marketing, they will act as an enabler, allowing the business to move quickly while managing risk appropriately.</p><p>The Legal Counsel will help ensure that effective legal frameworks are in place across key areas including commercial partnerships, contract management, product development, governance, compliance and risk.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including technology (SaaS, integrations, platform agreements), partnerships, supplier and marketing arrangements</li><li>Supporting product and technology teams across the full product lifecycle, from development through to launch and iteration</li><li>Advising on legal and regulatory considerations relevant to a growing and increasingly sophisticated business</li><li>Partnering with marketing and go-to-market teams on campaigns, promotions, content and brand initiatives</li><li>Assisting with the development and continuous improvement of legal processes, templates and frameworks to support scalability</li><li>Working closely with stakeholders across the business to provide clear, pragmatic and commercially sound advice</li><li>Contributing to broader strategic and corporate initiatives as the business prepares for its next phase of growth</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Profile</span></strong></p><p>The successful candidate will be a 3-5 year PQE lawyer with experience in commercial law, motivated by the opportunity to join a fast-growing, internationally focused technology business.
