An opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Coordinator to join a busy projects team and hit the ground running. This will initially be an ongoing temp role with the view to perm.<br /><br />This role suits someone with at least 2 years experience in a similar construction-based coordination role who demonstrates strong follow-through, a sense of urgency, and a proactive, motivated approach to work.<br /><br />You will work closely with the Project Administration function and provide direct support to three Project Managers, acting as a key point of coordination across multiple projects. There is clear potential to grow into a Project Manager role, depending on performance, motivation, and workload.</p><p><strong>The Role<br /></strong><br />The Project Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the smooth execution of project jobs by coordinating resources, scheduling tasks, managing documentation, and supporting contract administration.<br /><br />This role acts as the central liaison between the projects team, field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, while proactively identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements to enhance productivity.<br /><br /><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with Project Managers and team leads to develop and maintain clear project schedules and timelines</li><li>Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to allocate resources effectively</li><li>Monitor milestones and deadlines to ensure timely completion of project tasks</li><li>Prepare and manage pre-start documentation</li><li>Review quotes, estimates, and coordinate the issuing of Work Orders and Purchase Orders</li><li>Prepare and distribute weekly progress reports</li><li>Prepare comprehensive handover documentation, including completion reports and compliance certificates</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Your Profile</strong></p><ul><li>MUST have a minimum 2 years experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role within the construction industry</li><li>Highly organised with strong attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and initiative</li><li>Motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute and learn</li><li>Comfortable supporting multiple Project Managers simultaneously</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Apply Today<br /></strong><br />Please send your resume by clicking on the apply button.
