The Role An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious FP&A Business Analyst to join the Group Finance team, working closely with an experienced Finance Business Partner and stakeholders across a range of corporate functions.This is a varied position combining financial planning, reporting, modelling and commercial analysis. You will play an important role in supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, providing meaningful financial insights and improving the systems and reporting tools used across the business. Key responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Supporting annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and financial planning processes</li><li>Preparing financial analysis, management reporting and performance commentary</li><li>Developing and maintaining financial models to support scenario analysis and commercial decision-making</li><li>Working closely with Finance Business Partners to identify risks, opportunities and key performance drivers</li><li>Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights and analysis</li><li>Maintaining and improving financial models and reporting methodologies</li><li>Preparing executive reporting packs, presentations and financial dashboards</li><li>Identifying opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality and financial processes</li><li>Supporting improvements in analytical tools, automation and business intelligence capabilities</li></ul> Your Profile You will be a commercially curious finance professional with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and a desire to develop your career within FP&A and business partnering.We are open to candidates already working in an FP&A or commercial finance environment, as well as those looking to make their first move from professional services.Ideally, you will bring:<ul><li>CA/CPA qualification or progress towards completion</li><li>Experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting or forecasting</li><li>Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability</li><li>An understanding of financial statements and business performance drivers</li><li>Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving</li><li>An interest in systems, data analytics and process improvement</li><li>The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team</li></ul>Experience with Power BI, ERP systems or other financial planning and reporting platforms would be advantageous. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced FP&A Reporting Analyst to join a large, complex organisation operating across Australia and New Zealand. This role will suit a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working with detailed financial data, partnering with stakeholders across multiple sites and turning financial results into meaningful business insights.With a strong focus on monthly reporting and financial consolidation, you will play a key role in bringing together results from across the business, understanding performance drivers and supporting senior leadership with accurate, timely and insightful reporting. The RoleReporting within a centralised finance function, you will work closely with Finance Professionals, General Managers, sales teams and operational stakeholders to consolidate financial results, challenge variances and develop a clear picture of business performance. Key responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Consolidating monthly financial results across multiple sites, states and multiple cost centres throughout Australia and New Zealand.</li><li>Working with Finance Managers to ensure reporting is accurate, complete and delivered within tight month-end deadlines.</li><li>Investigating variances, challenging assumptions and gathering meaningful commentary to explain financial performance.</li><li>Preparing monthly management reporting packs, Excel and financial planning system reports, executive submissions and quarterly business review presentations.</li><li>Supporting annual budgeting and maintaining rolling 18-month forecasts in collaboration with finance, sales and operational teams.</li><li>Analysing key business drivers, including revenue, sales volumes, price and product mix, raw material costs, labour, overtime, plant downtime, freight, energy and overheads.</li><li>Working with operational and commercial stakeholders to understand margin movements, identify cost pressures and highlight opportunities to improve business performance.</li><li>Contributing to ongoing improvements in reporting processes, data quality and financial analysis.</li></ul> About YouYou are an analytical and organised finance professional who can confidently work with large volumes of financial data while understanding the commercial and operational factors behind the numbers.To be successful, you will bring:<ul><li>Experience in FP&A, management reporting or commercial finance, ideally at Senior Analyst level.</li><li>Demonstrated experience consolidating financial results across multiple sites, business units or cost centres.</li><li>Strong budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting capabilities.</li><li>The confidence to engage with Finance Managers and operational stakeholders, ask the right questions and challenge results where required.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting and planning systems.</li><li>The ability to translate complex financial information into clear, concise commentary for senior leadership.</li><li>Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple inputs against competing deadlines.</li><li>Happy to work onsite 5 days a week</li></ul>Experience in manufacturing, industrials or another operationally complex environment will be highly regarded, particularly where you have worked with detailed production costs, inventory, labour and plant performance.
