  • <p><strong>Environment and Release Manager</strong></p><p><strong>Brisbane CBD | Hybrid working</strong><br /> <strong>12-month fixed-term contract | $130,000-$160,000 + superannuation</strong></p><p><strong>The opportunity</strong></p><p>Our client, a large national member-based organisation, is undertaking a significant transformation program to modernise its core technology platforms and transition away from legacy systems.</p><p>We are seeking an experienced Environment and Release Manager to provide end-to-end oversight of the environments and releases supporting this program.</p><p>Reporting to the Program Manager, you will coordinate release planning, environment readiness and deployment activities across a complex technology landscape spanning Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, Finance &amp; Operations, enterprise integrations and legacy platforms.</p><p>This highly collaborative role will work across internal technology teams, external delivery partners, vendors and business stakeholders to ensure releases are controlled, environments remain stable and program delivery proceeds with confidence.</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Own the environment and release management approach for the transformation program.</li><li>Develop and maintain integrated release schedules across multiple projects, platforms and vendors.</li><li>Coordinate releases through development, testing, staging and production environments.</li><li>Ensure environments are available, stable and appropriately configured to support delivery.</li><li>Manage environment bookings, dependencies, conflicts and competing priorities.</li><li>Establish and maintain release governance, controls and approval processes.</li><li>Facilitate release-readiness assessments, go/no-go decisions and post-release reviews.</li><li>Coordinate deployment, implementation, rollback and recovery plans.</li><li>Work closely with engineering, testing, architecture, security and business teams.</li><li>Manage technical and operational dependencies across cloud, CRM, ERP, integration and legacy platforms.</li><li>Identify and escalate release risks, environment issues and delivery constraints.</li><li>Support the controlled decommissioning of legacy systems and environments.</li><li>Drive improvements to deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines and release efficiency.</li><li>Maintain release documentation, environment plans, calendars and stakeholder reporting.</li><li>Coordinate incident resolution and post-implementation activities where releases affect production services.</li></ul><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>You are an experienced Environment and Release Manager who can bring structure, visibility and control to a complex transformation environment.</p><p>You will bring:</p><ul><li>Proven experience leading end-to-end releases within large-scale, complex technology environments.</li><li>Strong experience in release governance, planning, scheduling and execution.</li><li>Experience managing multiple integrated environments across concurrent delivery streams.</li><li>A sound understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and deployment automation.</li><li>Experience working with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms.</li><li>The ability to coordinate dependencies across internal teams, vendors and implementation partners.</li><li>Strong risk, issue and change management capabilities.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills.</li><li>The ability to make sound decisions under tight delivery timeframes.</li><li>Experience operating within Agile, DevOps or hybrid delivery environments.</li></ul><p>Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Finance &amp; Operations, Power Platform, Optimizely, Drupal or Microsoft Entra External ID will be highly regarded. It's a family friendly community with a relaxed pace of life.</p><p>You'll be joining an established business that is approx. $400m T/O and this is an opportunity for an ambitious Senior Financial Accountant seeking broader responsibility as you develop your skills as you move towards an FC position. </p><p><strong>What you'll do: <br /> <br /> </strong>This isn't a role where you'll spend the next couple of years doing the same month-end process.</p><p>The business has recently moved to SAP S/4HANA, and you'll play a key role in stabilising and improving the system, while also taking ownership across financial and statutory reporting, controls, treasury, tax and derivatives.<br /> <br /> Longer term, there is scope to work on automation, AI, digital improvements and simplifying domestic and international tax processes.</p><p>So, yes, you'll still be accountable for the numbers.
