You'll be encouraged to ask questions, take ownership of your work and progressively build your technical accounting capability.The business offers a supportive, down-to-earth culture where people enjoy working together, continuous improvement is encouraged, and career development is genuinely invested in.Post probation you will get 2-days WFH.What You'll DoYou will play an important role supporting the day-to-day finance function while progressively building your accounting knowledge across a broad range of responsibilities.Initially a significant portion of your role will focus on Accounts Receivable, including payment allocations, collections, customer enquiries, ageing reports and liaising with external collection agencies.You will also support the Accounts Payable function through supplier maintenance, invoice coding, payment administration and vendor management activities.As your experience develops, you'll gain exposure to bank reconciliations and month-end accounting, assisting with journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and the month-end close process.In addition, you'll provide general operational and administrative support, working closely with customers and internal stakeholders while assisting with audit preparation, document management and continuous improvement initiatives.Who You AreYou will have 1-2 years' accounting experience and you'll be looking to build a genuine career within finance rather than remain in a transactional role.
