- <table width="680"><tbody><tr><td width="507"><p><strong>The Company</strong></p><ul><li>Join a well-established machinery and worktools business with a strong presence in the Australian market.</li><li>Based in <strong>Sydney CBD</strong>, the company supports a broad customer base across industrial, construction and trade sectors.</li><li>Known for quality products, practical innovation and a customer-first mindset, the business continues to invest in growth and operational excellence.</li><li>You'll be joining a collaborative leadership team in a company that values commercial thinking, accountability and continuous improvement.</li><li>This is an excellent opportunity to step into a high-impact finance role within a business that plays an important part in keeping essential industries moving.</li></ul><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><ul><li>As Treasurer, you will take ownership of the company's treasury function, ensuring strong cash flow management, liquidity planning and financial risk oversight.</li><li>Lead day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management, forecasting, banking relationships and funding activities.</li><li>Monitor and manage working capital to support business performance and strategic growth initiatives.</li><li>Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts, providing clear visibility to senior stakeholders.</li><li>Oversee debt management, financing arrangements and compliance with banking covenants and internal controls.</li><li>Identify and manage treasury-related risks, including foreign exchange, interest rate and liquidity exposure where relevant.</li><li>Partner closely with finance, operations and executive leadership to support business planning and key commercial decisions.</li><li>Drive process improvements across treasury systems, reporting and controls to enhance efficiency and governance.</li><li>Prepare treasury reporting and insights for senior leadership, helping shape financial strategy and decision-making.</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor across the business, bringing a proactive and commercially minded approach to treasury management.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in a senior treasury or corporate finance role, ideally within a product-led, industrial, manufacturing, machinery or related environment.</li><li>Strong technical understanding of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, banking facilities, debt structures and financial risk management.</li><li>Confident managing senior stakeholder and banking relationships, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively.</li><li>Commercially astute, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.</li><li>High attention to detail, strong analytical capability and a natural ability to turn financial data into practical business insight.</li><li>A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the confidence to work autonomously and lead through change.</li><li>Strong knowledge of treasury controls, compliance and governance best practice.</li><li>Relevant finance, accounting or treasury qualifications will be highly regarded.</li><li>You'll be someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by the opportunity to build, improve and make a genuine impact.</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
