Reporting directly to the General Manager of Finance, this pivotal role offers the chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.</p><p>This key role is responsible for leading all financial accounting and taxation-related activities, as well as overseeing Accounts Payable and Receivable functions. You will also provide key business partnering support to various departments, including budgeting and forecasting.</p><p> </p><p><strong>In the role you will:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead all regulatory financial requirements including audits, statutory accounts, BAS, FBT, and NFP submissions.</li><li>Own balance sheet preparation, cashflow modelling, and treasury functions.</li><li>Provide business partnering, reporting, and forecasting for Affiliate States and internal departments.</li><li>Manage revenue recognition models and investment asset accounting.</li><li>Oversee Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Receivable teams.</li><li>Deliver government acquittals and stadium settlement processes.</li><li>Offer technical accounting advice to the GM Finance and CFO.</li><li>Lead regulatory financial obligations, including audits and statutory</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Ideally, you will have:</strong></p><ul><li>CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent).</li><li>A minimum of 5+ years post-qualification experience in a commercial or industry setting, with a Chartered Accounting background highly regarded.</li><li>Strong experience in treasury and cashflow modelling.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills and the ability to deliver precise and reliable financial analysis.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills and high levels of professionalism and integrity.</li><li>A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.</li></ul><p> </p><p>This role is ideal for a driven and analytical finance professional who strives for excellence in financial management and business support.
