<p>Company Profile<br />Multinational retail company looking for a Senior Accounting and Tax Manager.<br /><br />The Role<br />- Oversee monthly and year-end closing processes in accordance with both US GAAP and Japan GAAP.<br />- Ensure compliance with SOX by maintaining and updating accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.<br />- Perform monthly financial reconciliations and analyses to support accurate and consistent reporting.<br />- Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with local requirements for shareholders and regulatory bodies.<br />- Manage year-end financial audits and SOX audits in collaboration with external auditors.<br />- Lead and mentor the team in streamlining daily accounting operations and improving process efficiency.<br /><br />Your Skills<br />- Fluent Japanese and business English<br />- 7+ years of accounting experience<br />- People management experience.
