Ideal for a strong data specialist with a consulting background to independently drive analysis and visualization in a fast paced banking environment.</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Position Description</span></strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with finance stakeholders and business owners to define and align on business metric definitions, ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting.</li><li>Develop and implement automated processes for tracking management analysis related to financial metrics, improving efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Utilize advanced data visualization tools, such as PowerBI, to create interactive dashboards and reports for monitoring business performance and highlighting key insights through sensible and</li><li>impactful presentations.</li><li>Identify valuable data sources and collaborate with the IT team and data engineers to automate data pipeline processes, ensuring timely and accurate data ingestion and transformation.</li><li>Retrieve and consolidate raw data from various sources, including transactional systems, finance systems, databases, and external data files, into a centralized data lake.</li><li>Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in financial data, providing actionable insights and recommendations, with a focus on critically evaluating datasets to</li><li>uncover and resolve discrepancies (e.g., data migration issues).</li><li>Collaborate with finance teams to develop forecasting models, scenario analysis, and predictive analytics capabilities, enabling proactive planning and risk assessment.</li><li>Prioritize and manage business requests and BAU (Business as Usual) tasks, effectively utilizing team resources to meet business needs.</li><li>Partner with the IT team to enhance data infrastructure and table schema design, ensuring scalability, data governance, and security.</li></ul><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Your Profile</strong></span></p><ul><li>Bachelor's in Data Science, Analytics, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).</li><li>5+ years analyzing complex datasets in banking/finance.
