Robert Half have partnered with a global retail organisation to recruit for an experienced German-Speaking QA Tester to join a fast-paced technology team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the testing and quality assurance of web and mobile applications, with a particular focus on German localisation and ensuring an excellent customer experience across different markets.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Carry out manual functional and regression testing across web and mobile applications.</li><li>Test Android and iOS applications, ensuring functionality and usability meet requirements.</li><li>Perform API testing and support end-to-end testing activities.</li><li>Identify, document and track defects using JIRA.</li><li>Support the creation and execution of detailed test cases and test scenarios.</li><li>Perform localisation testing, ensuring German translations, formatting and functionality are accurate and appropriate for the local market.</li><li>Work closely with Developers, Product Managers and other QA professionals to investigate and resolve defects.</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvements across the QA and testing process.</li><li>Support UAT activities and provide clear feedback to business and technical stakeholders.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>4+ years' experience in QA / Software Testing.</li><li>Strong experience with manual testing, including functional and regression testing.</li><li>Experience testing web applications and mobile applications across Android and iOS.</li><li>Experience with API testing.</li><li>Strong experience using JIRA or similar defect management tools.</li><li>Previous experience with localisation testing is highly desirable.</li><li>Fluent German and English communication skills are essential.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, particularly around language, localisation and user experience.</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li></ul>Contract:<ul><li>Initial 6 month contract</li><li>Competitive Day Rate | Inside IR35</li></ul>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
