We are currently working with a well-established business based in Kidderminster who are looking to recruit a Sales Ledger Clerk on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales ledger professional to join a busy finance team and make an immediate impact.<h3 data-end="488" data-start="474">The Role</h3>Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the sales ledger function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all processes.<h3 data-end="699" data-start="673">Key Responsibilities</h3><ul data-end="1096" data-start="700"><li data-start="700" data-end="767">Processing daily sales invoicing accurately and efficiently</li><li data-start="768" data-end="819">Producing and reviewing daily sales reports</li><li data-end="868" data-start="820">Posting and allocating customer receipts</li><li data-end="939" data-start="869">Preparing and maintaining the daily invoice discounting report</li><li data-end="1022" data-start="940">Managing credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments</li><li data-end="1096" data-start="1023">Producing and distributing monthly customer statements of account</li></ul><h3 data-start="1098" data-end="1121">Candidate Profile</h3><ul data-end="1533" data-start="1122"><li data-start="1122" data-end="1194">Previous experience in a sales ledger / accounts receivable role</li><li data-start="1195" data-end="1273">Strong understanding of invoicing, cash allocation, and credit control</li><li data-start="1274" data-end="1328">High level of accuracy and attention to detail</li><li data-end="1399" data-start="1329">Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines</li><li data-end="1481" data-start="1400">Good communication skills when liaising with customers and internal teams</li><li data-end="1533" data-start="1482">Confident user of Excel and finance systems</li></ul><h3 data-end="1563" data-start="1535">Additional Information</h3><ul data-end="1722" data-start="1564"><li data-end="1593" data-start="1564">Immediate start preferred</li><li data-end="1632" data-start="1594">Office-based role in Kidderminster</li><li data-end="1722" data-start="1633">Opportunity to gain experience within a supportive and collaborative finance team</li></ul>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
