<p>We are partnering with a leading business in the West Midlands to recruit a Senior Data Engineer for a newly created permanent position. The role offers a salary of up to £75,000 plus a bonus of up to 15%.</p><p>This is a hybrid role, requiring attendance in the office on average twice per month, with flexibility to come in as needed. </p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>We are for Senior Data Engineers with strong Databricks experience to join a newly established data function wihin a global organisation.</p><p>You will play a key role in the implementation of Databricks alongside a strategic partner, acting as the subject matter expert across the business. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Deliver, build and optimise end-to-end data pipelines </li><li>Act as Databricks SME partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive continuous improvement</li><li>Develop solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL and Python </li><li>Implement and maintain CI/CD practices </li><li>Enhance and optimise existing data pipelines</li></ul><p><strong>About You </strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark and Spark SQL </li><li>Excellent communication skills - ability to partner with the business and key stakeholders to champion best practice in data engineering </li><li>Strong Python and SQL skills </li><li>Knowledge of CI/CD practices </li></ul><p><strong>On Offer </strong></p><ul><li>Salary - up to £75,000 </li><li>Bonus - up to 15% </li><li>27 days annual leave (plus BH) </li><li>Hybrid working - on average twice a month </li><li>Opportunity to work with a high-performing Data & Analytics team</li></ul><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
