<p><strong>CONTRACT AZURE MIGRATION ENGINEER</strong></p><p> </p><h3> </h3><p><strong>Job Title: Azure Migration Engineer</strong><br /><strong>Location:</strong> Oxfordshire / Hybrid Working Pattern<br /><strong>Duration:</strong> Initially 3 Months<br /><strong>Rate: </strong>Competitive Daily Rate</p><p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Azure Cloud Deployment Engineer</strong> to lead the implementation of a new Microsoft Azure environment.</p><p>This is a <strong>hands-on deployment role</strong> focused on building a secure, well-structured Azure environment in line with agreed architecture, security and governance requirements.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Design and deploy the Microsoft Azure environment from the ground up.</li><li>Configure Azure subscriptions, resource groups, networking and core services.</li><li>Implement Azure identity, RBAC, PIM and appropriate security controls.</li><li>Apply Azure policies and Microsoft best-practice standards.</li><li>Ensure resources are deployed securely and consistently.</li><li>Work with relevant security stakeholders to ensure the environment meets required security and compliance standards.</li><li>Troubleshoot deployment and configuration issues.</li><li>Use PowerShell, Azure CLI and/or Infrastructure as Code where appropriate.</li><li>Produce clear technical documentation covering the Azure architecture, configuration, security and operational setup.</li><li>Provide knowledge transfer and handover to the internal IT team.</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><ul><li>Strong experience in IT/cloud infrastructure.</li><li>Strong, demonstrable hands-on experience with <strong>Microsoft Azure</strong>.</li><li>Proven experience deploying Azure environments from the ground up.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>Azure security, Entra ID, RBAC and PIM</strong>.</li><li>Good understanding of Azure networking, governance and resource management.</li><li>Experience with Azure Policy and security best practices.</li><li>Strong scripting/automation skills using PowerShell and/or Azure CLI.</li><li>Experience with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates would be advantageous.</li><li>Strong documentation and communication skills.</li><li>Able to work independently, take ownership and deliver to deadlines.</li><li>Security-conscious and comfortable working within formal governance requirements.</li></ul><p>If you are interested in applying please reach out! </p><h3> </h3><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions. Supporting around 70 users, you'll work closely with the CTO to deliver an exceptional IT service while leading technology improvements across the business.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd">This is a varied, hands-on position with plenty of autonomy.
