Robert Half are working in partnership with a reputable, continuously growing company in Cirencester to recruit a Credit Controller role on a full-time permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a proactive and organised Credit Controller to join their Finance team. This role is key to reducing outstanding debt, supporting company policies, improving cash flow, and ensuring timely payment collection while maintaining strong customer relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, resolving payment queries efficiently, and providing vital support to the wider Finance function and business growth. The salary is up to £30,000 plus hybrid working and other excellent benefits. The Role The main duties of the role will consist of: <ul><li>Chase outstanding payments by telephone and email, agree payment dates, and maintain accurate records of customer conversations.</li><li>Managing debtor communications in line with company credit control policy, including sending reminder letters, copy invoices, and proof of delivery documents.</li><li>Issuing sales invoices and credit notes to maintenance customers and submit invoices and credits through customer portals.</li><li>Posting cash receipts accurately and carry out general customer account administration, including credit account applications.</li><li>Liaising closely with Sales Teams to resolve customer queries and disputes promptly while maintaining positive customer relationships.</li><li>Processing credit checks, report on debtor status to the Assistant Finance Manager, and provide cover across Accounts Receivable and other finance functions as needed.</li></ul><h3> </h3>About you.. To be considered for the Credit Controller role, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience: <ul><li>Must have 2+ years within credit control or accounts receivable.</li><li>Confident communicating with customers by phone and email.</li><li>Highly organised with strong attention to detail.</li><li>Able to manage queries and disputes professionally and efficiently.</li><li>Comfortable working collaboratively with internal stakeholders.</li><li>Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul> Salary & Benefits <ul><li>£28,000 - £30,000 annual salary</li><li>Hybrid working; 2 days from home, 3 days on site</li><li>Pension scheme </li><li>25 days annual leave</li><li>Life assurance </li><li>On site parking</li></ul>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
