<p>Exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation based in Wallingford as a Linux Systems Administrator, offering up to £45,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits and opportunities for development.</p><p> </p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>As Linux Systems Administrator, you'll join a close-knit IT/infrastructure team and be responsible for:</p><ul><li>acting as an escalation point for technical issues, troubleshooting and problem solving technical issues related to the Linux environment </li><li>systems administration and support for Linux environment, including both physical & virtual services, as well as on-premise and cloud services</li><li>day-to-day management and support of Linux solutions (patching etc.)</li><li>play a key role in ongoing projects, implementing new / replacing solutions </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>Applicants for the Linux Systems Administrator role will have:</p><ul><li>experience gained in a similar systems administration role, with experience / knowledge of Linux solutions </li><li>experience / knowledge of virtualisation, Microsoft applications (e.g. MS365), desktop/server hardware, security technologies (firewalls, VPN etc) and general networking (switches, routers etc.)</li><li>strong communication and team working skills, with a passion for learning new technologies </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>On offer</strong></p><p>Salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits (including hybrid working)</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
