- <p>Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with an established organisation based in <strong>Thame</strong> to recruit an <strong>Accountant</strong>. The Accountant will receive a salary of up to <strong>£50,000</strong> (potentially negotiable) along with other attractive benefits including <strong>hybrid remote working!</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Primary responsibilities; </strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Manage and coordinate month end balance sheet reporting for Direct and Indirect channel including intercompany and cash balances reconciliation within agreed deadlines.</li><li>Monthly Indirect Channel income statement actual and forecasts submissions to group within agreed deadlines, with supporting analysis and commentary required for monthly reviews with group function.</li><li>Business Partnering with the Indirect Channel to support business strategy and growth.</li><li>Budget preparation and submission for Indirect Channel.</li><li>Fixed assets management ensuring compliance with group and local accounting standards: accurate and timely assets capitalisation, monthly depreciation, and disposal reporting, as well as budget submission, and monitoring of actuals vs budget.</li><li>Stock records management ensuring correct cost of sales and inventory reporting.</li><li>Monthly prepayments/accruals reconciliation and recognition in income statements.</li><li>Bank reconciliation for all business accounts.</li><li>Monthly VAT reconciliation and support with quarterly VAT reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key experience and attributes; </strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>ACCA/CIMA/ACA finalist or newly qualified</li><li>Balance sheet and month end experience</li><li>Solid understanding of basic accounting and tax principles</li><li>Good knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel at the Intermediate level)</li><li>Able to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
