<p>Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently partnering with our client, a growing business going through an exciting period of growth, in their recruitment of a Treasury Accountant on a permanent contract.</p><p>A role focusing on the management of cash, debt and banking operations, you will partner across the whole business and have a real opportunity to drive change and transformation. This role could be suitable for someone coming from practice & looking for their first move into industry, or, someone who has prior treasury and cash experience who is looking to join a business who are going places. It's one of those roles that will offer a unique skillset to support your path to a Controller role if that is what you are working towards. </p><p>The salary on offer is up to £60,000 + benefits. Hybrid working is supported, and you will be joining an inquisitive & high-performing finance team. Some local (South West) based travel will be required due to the nature of the partnering in the role. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Treasury Policy and Governance</strong></p><ul><li>Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of treasury policies</li><li>Administer banking platforms, including managing user access and maintaining bank mandates</li><li>Oversee credit card payment processes, ensuring compliance and effective cash handling</li><li>Manage payment cards, procurement cards, and petty cash arrangements</li></ul><p><strong>Cash and Liquidity Management</strong></p><ul><li>Lead operational cash forecasting and coordinate debt drawdowns or repayments as required</li><li>Conduct monthly balance sheet reviews for cash positions and standardise processes across business units</li><li>Streamline and monitor payment processes, including BACS implementation, and review direct debit and standing orders</li><li>Manage investment activities related to cash surpluses and cash sweeps</li></ul><p><strong>Risk Management and Working Capital</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee foreign exchange transactions, including forecasting and purchasing currency instruments</li><li>Monitor working capital performance and provide oversight of international trading platforms</li></ul><p><strong>Technology and Systems</strong></p><ul><li>Support the transition to new ERP systems, ensuring smooth migration of finance and operational processes</li></ul><p><strong>Performance and Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain KPIs and reporting tools to provide insights on cash positions, bank fees, and intramonth cash flows</li><li>Manage monthly credit card reporting and ensure timely delivery of financial insights to stakeholders</li></ul><p> </p><p>For more information, please call Paige on 01179 935 445.
