As the company continues to expand, they are looking to add a new head into their commercial finance function to strengthen decision support and help drive business performance.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional with a strong commercial mindset who can work closely with stakeholders, interpret complex data, and translate financial insight into clear, actionable recommendations.</p><p>A background in M&A would be highly advantageous, though the client is also keen to consider candidates from a Finance Business Partner or Finance Analyst background who have developed strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.</p><p>Key responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Delivering commercial finance insight to support strategic decision-making</li><li>Analysing financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities</li><li>Interpreting complex information and communicating findings clearly to non-finance stakeholders</li><li>Supporting senior leaders with performance analysis and business planning</li><li>Partnering with key departments across the business to drive profitability and performance</li><li>Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning</li><li>Supporting strategic projects, with potential exposure to M&A activity</li></ul><p>The ideal candidate will have:</p><ul><li>A recognised accounting qualification, ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA</li><li>Strong commercial finance experience, ideally within a Finance Business Partner, Finance Analyst or similar role</li><li>The ability to work with large volumes of data and turn analysis into meaningful business insight</li><li>Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders</li><li>A proactive, commercially focused approach</li><li>Previous M&A exposure would be advantageous but is not essential</li></ul><p>What's on offer:</p><ul><li>Salary of circa £65,000</li><li>Hybrid working options</li><li>Significant career progression opportunities</li><li>The chance to join a business in an exciting growth phase</li><li>A broad and visible role with real commercial influence</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
