  • <h1>Commercial Accounting Manager</h1><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Location:</strong> Stokenchurch (Hybrid)</p><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Salary:</strong> Competitive + Benefits</p><h2>The Opportunity</h2><p class="isSelectedEnd">Robert Half is partnering with a successful and growing organisation to recruit a Commercial Accounting Manager to join its finance team.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd">This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded accountant looking to play a key role in financial reporting, business partnering and commercial decision-making. Working closely with operational stakeholders, you'll provide financial insight, support budgeting and forecasting, and help drive business performance across multiple cost centres and business units.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul data-spread="false"><li>Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including revenue, cost of sales, gross profit, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks, opportunities and key variances against budget and forecast.</li><li>Partner with operational stakeholders to prepare budgets and ensure profitability is maintained.</li><li>Support forecasting, financial planning and commercial decision-making through insightful reporting and analysis.</li><li>Prepare financial commentary for senior leadership.</li><li>Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.</li><li>Support month-end, year-end and audit processes.</li><li>Drive continuous improvements to financial reporting, controls and processes.</li><li>Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic business initiatives.</li></ul><h2>About You</h2><ul data-spread="false"><li>Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA (or actively studying towards qualification).</li><li>Previous experience within a commercial accounting or management accounting role.</li><li>Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data.</li><li>Confident communicating financial information to non-financial stakeholders.</li><li>Commercially aware with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Experience with ERP systems; PeopleSoft or Planning Analytics experience is advantageous but not essential.</li></ul><h2>What's on Offer?</h2><ul data-spread="false"><li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li><li>Hybrid working.</li><li>Study support and ongoing professional development.</li><li>Genuine career progression within a growing organisation.</li><li>Exposure to senior stakeholders and commercial decision-making.</li><li>Supportive, collaborative finance team with opportunities to make a real impact.</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
