<h1>Interim Finance Manager</h1>6-Month Contract | Predominantly Remote | Central Scotland £65,000-£70,000 Salary Equivalent (PAYE) | Immediate StartRobert Half is delighted to be supporting a growing infrastructure business in the appointment of an Interim Finance Manager for an initial 6-month contract.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to join a collaborative finance team and make an immediate impact within a project-led organisation operating across the UK, Ireland and Germany.With the finance team currently under pressure, we're looking for someone who can quickly integrate into the business, provide leadership and support to the existing team, and help strengthen financial processes while ensuring business-as-usual activities continue to run smoothly.<h3>The Role</h3>Reporting into senior leadership, you'll play a key role across the finance function with responsibilities including:<ul data-spread="false"><li>Leading the month-end process and bringing management accounts back on schedule.</li><li>Managing complex group cash flow forecasting across multiple entities.</li><li>Posting journals and overseeing financial reporting within Xero.</li><li>Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and strengthening financial controls.</li><li>Managing supplier payment runs and supporting working capital management.</li><li>Supporting payroll activities across the UK, Ireland and Germany.</li><li>Providing day-to-day leadership and support to a small finance team.</li><li>Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting.</li></ul><h3>About You</h3>We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager/Management Accountant who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and isn't afraid to get into the detail.You'll ideally have:<ul data-spread="false"><li>Qualified accountant status (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).</li><li>Strong management accounting and month-end experience.</li><li>Excellent cash flow forecasting and working capital management skills.</li><li>Experience working within SME or project-based organisations.</li><li>Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP or cloud accounting systems (Xero experience would be advantageous).</li><li>Previous experience managing or mentoring finance teams.</li><li>A proactive approach with the ability to identify process improvements and support operational decision-making.</li></ul><h3>What's on Offer</h3><ul data-spread="false"><li>Initial 6-month interim contract.</li><li>Predominantly remote working, with flexibility around occasional travel.
