With the agility of a startup and the support of a larger organisation, this is an opportunity to help shape the future of a rapidly evolving platform.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd"> </p><p><strong>Role</strong></p><ul><li>The Full Stack Developer will contribute to full-stack design and development across the platform.</li><li>Design, develop, and maintain both front-end user interfaces and back-end services, APIs, and databases.</li><li>Monitor platform performance and operational metrics, identifying, investigating, and resolving issues as they arise.</li><li>Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand opportunities to improve user and seller experiences and translate those requirements into scalable technical solutions.</li><li>Document existing functionality and newly delivered features.</li><li>Support the migration of existing products and users onto a unified platform experience.</li><li>Work within an agile team to propose technical solutions, maintain high standards of code quality, and contribute to large-scale migration initiatives.</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement features required to support evolving business needs.</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><ul><li>The Full Stack Developer will have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on backend development.</li><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.</li><li>Strong understanding of database design, data modelling, and optimisation, particularly using SQL.</li><li>Hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.</li><li>Experience monitoring production systems, triaging issues, and distinguishing between critical incidents and false positives.</li><li>Ability to work effectively within agile, cross-functional teams.</li></ul><h3>Required Technical Skills</h3><ul data-spread="false"><li><strong>TypeScript</strong> - Extensive experience developing within strongly typed TypeScript codebases.</li><li><strong>React</strong> - Strong knowledge of React and modern front-end development practices, with a focus on performance optimisation, scalability, and application stability.</li><li><strong>SQL</strong> - Proven experience writing and optimising SQL queries within production environments.</li><li><strong>GraphQL, tRPC and REST APIs</strong> - Solid understanding of API design principles and experience working with multiple communication patterns between applications, services, and microservices.</li></ul><p><strong>Company</strong></p><ul><li>UK's market leading financial services organisation with offices in London</li><li>Hybrid working </li></ul><p><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></p><p>The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
